The whole premise is you play as this little troll who somehow ends up with supernatural powers. Not like saving-the-world powers more like quirky chaotic powers that make for hilarious gameplay. One minute you're just a small troll wandering around the next you're flinging objects with your mind or growing to giant size to stomp through levels. The art style is this charming cartoon look where everything's a little exaggerated and bouncy. The troll himself has this dumb little smirk that somehow makes every victory feel ten times better.
⚡ What Makes It Fun:
What really hooked me is how the game keeps throwing new abilities at you just when things start feeling familiar. You might start with basic telekinesis just picking stuff up and throwing it. Then suddenly you unlock the ability to possess enemies and walk around in their bodies causing chaos. Later you get this time manipulation power where you can freeze enemies mid-jump or rewind a few seconds when you make a stupid mistake. The levels are designed around these powers too so you're constantly solving little puzzles like "how do I use mind control to get that key" or "can I possess that flying enemy to reach the high platform."
There's also this upgrade system where you collect glowing orbs throughout the levels and spend them to make your powers stronger. Longer possession time bigger telekinesis range stuff like that. It gives you something to grind for without feeling like a chore. The boss fights are especially wild because you're using your whole toolkit against these massive creatures that each have their own weird patterns.
🎮 How to Actually Play:
Getting into it is super straightforward which I appreciate.
On Computer: You move with WASD or arrow keys whatever feels comfortable. Mouse controls your powers—click to grab things with telekinesis right-click to possess enemies when that power unlocks. The spacebar is your general "do the thing" button for activating switches or special abilities.
On Phone: The touch controls are actually really well done. Left side of screen moves your troll around right side handles powers. You tap enemies to possess them drag objects to throw them. It feels natural after about two minutes of messing around.
The game's got this loose story too about trolls being misunderstood and honestly the writing is pretty funny. Little jokes in the dialogue environmental humor stuff like that. If you want something that doesn't take itself seriously but still gives you satisfying gameplay definitely give this troll a shot. It's free and way more fun than it has any right to be.
